What is tonsil hockey?

Tonsil hockey, also known as deep kissing or French kissing, is an intimate act involving the use of the tongue to explore another person's mouth, including the tonsils. It's characterized by the exchange of saliva and close physical contact.

Some consider it a form of sexual activity, increasing arousal and potentially leading to further intimacy.

Risks associated with tonsil hockey include the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as herpes and cytomegalovirus (CMV), as well as other illnesses like the common cold and mononucleosis (the "kissing disease"). Good oral hygiene is important to minimize these risks.
